This is a nicely illustrated selection of Robert Frost poems and ideal for someone like myself only just beginning to explore the man's work. The selection includes both shorter and longer poems. I purchased 2 copies, one for myself and another as a gift and both copies have been appreciated. In addition to Robert Frost's first three books, this collection includes eighteen early poems that did not appear in his eleven books of poetry and have rarely been reprinted. Some of these express the idealism of youth inspired by heroic figures of the past. Frost's poems include "Mending Wall" ("Good fences make good neighbors"), "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" ("Whose woods these are I think I know"), and perhaps his most famous work, "The Road Not Taken" ("Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- / I took the one less traveled by").
